Course Description
Level 7 Diploma – Fast Track (RPL) JCCP-approved pathway for practising aesthetic practitioners.
If you are already working in aesthetics and want a regulated Level 7 diploma without repeating foundation training, this Fast Track route is designed for you.
It recognises the injecting experience you already have and maps it against the OTHM Level 7 Diploma in Clinical Aesthetic Injectable Therapies.
This is not a beginner course. You must already be an aesthetic practitioner.
Why Level 7? Level 7 is postgraduate-level study on the UK Regulated Qualifications Framework. It is widely regarded as the benchmark qualification for clinical aesthetic injectable practice and aligns with JCCP education standards and the direction of UK aesthetic regulation.
The Fast Track route does not lower the standard. It avoids duplicating skills you already use in clinic, then assesses you properly against Level 7 outcomes.
This route is suitable if you:
• Already treat clients with botulinum toxin and dermal filler
• Can evidence consistent, safe clinical practice
• Have previous injectables training and CPD
• Want formal Level 7 recognition for licensing, clinics, insurers and professional standing
How the Fast Track works
1. Eligibility review
Send your certificates, treatment experience and practice evidence. We confirm whether you meet the Fast Track criteria.
2. Level 7 theory access
You receive the core academic modules so your knowledge matches current Level 7 standards.
3. Assessment
Complete the required Level 7 assessments. This typically includes academic work plus practical / viva assessment of your clinical competence.
4. Reflective practice
Submit reflective written work showing how you assess patients, manage risk and apply theory to real treatments.
5. Award
On successful completion you receive the OTHM Level 7 Diploma in Clinical Aesthetic Injectable Therapies.

Is this JCCP approved?
Yes. This Level 7 pathway is aligned with JCCP education standards and is offered as a JCCP-approved route.
Do I need to be an aesthetic practitioner already?
Yes. This Fast Track is only for practising aesthetic practitioners with existing toxin and filler experience. Beginners should complete foundation training first.
Can complete beginners join this course?
No.
How is this different from a normal Level 7 diploma?
The diploma is the same. The Fast Track recognises prior learning so experienced injectors do not repeat foundation practical training they have already completed.
How long does it take?
It depends on your evidence and how quickly you complete the academic and assessment work. Experienced practitioners usually finish faster than a full 3–6 months route.
What evidence do I need?
Previous injectables certificates, proof you are practising, treatment experience, and any relevant CPD. We will tell you exactly what to send after your enquiry.
Does this replace insurance or a prescriber?
No. You still need appropriate insurance and, for Botox, a prescriber arrangement.
